was working fine but now when i conect cable to charge it shows empty battery and not charging
you need to replace or clean the dock connector/USB cord. Many times a good clean of the pins the USB cord connects to will sort this problem out…lots of dirt from pockets etc end up blocking the pins so your USB cord can’t make contact. Take a look at the USB cord too if the port is clear, check their is no damage to the cord or pin, try another port, try wall charger. If all else fails then you need to replace the dock connector..the how to guide is linked under the photo of the phone on the right.
