iPod quit. Tried pressing menu & center button. iPod wouldn’t turn on. No image on display. Plugged nano into usb port & also wall charger & no image on display. Replaced battery. Same problem.

I have a PC. The computer does make sounds as you suggest. I guess it’s connect/disconnect. The iPod loads songs from Itunes but there’s nothing on the display & therefore can’t play songs from the iPod. Don
