Won’t turn on even when the MagSafe is plugged in. This is a new MagSafe that had been working. Laptop just stopped working. Is this a hardware issue that could be repaired? Update (06/08/2017) It is a ME864LL/A 128GB. I am not aware of any water and or drop damage. I have the back off and do not see any obvious signs. The MagSafe MD565LL/A was from the Online Apple Store and was bought 8/16. This is happened this spring not prior to new MagSafe. There is a thought that it could be the part on the inside of the computer that the MagSafe connects too. I look forward to your reply.

When you plug the MagSafe adapter in, you should see a green light come on the connector. If not, try it on another Macbook. If it works, then probably the MagSafe port on your Mac is probably bad.
