When I turn on TV to “video 2” I get “no signal” . The player itself has an orange light on instead of green and it won’t open.

junevkramer not sure what you mean by “turn on TV to “video 2”. It might help if you tell us what make and model your TV is. Of course you’ve tried a different TV and get the same result. Right? I will also help if you tell us how you connected the DVD player to the TV. Composite, S-Video or Component connections all work a bit different. Until we know more about your setup I suggest that you double check the connections and check the user manual for your TV to see what is required depending on the input of the set.
