My Visual Land Prestige Elite 10 , won’t charge or turn on. All I get is the battery indicator comes on with a triangle and a (!) inside the triangle . Tablet is new used it only 6hrs. Please help
Hi, Try leaving the charger switched on and connected for at least 3-4 hours to see if the battery ‘kick starts’ into life again. Sometimes these devices have been sitting in storage for a while and the battery has discharged below a set threshold affecting its charging ability. If it shows that it is starting to charge after this period of time allow it to fully charge before attempting to turn it on. I realize that this is annoying but in the long run it is better for the battery. If it doesn’t show any response at all, as the tablet is new, consult the warranty information contained in the User Guide that came with the tablet as to what you have to do to make a claim for a manufacturer’s warranty replacement of your tablet. Update (12/16/2016) Hi, If it doesn’t charge when using the AC adapter, try plugging the tablet into a known working USB port of a PC using the appropriate USB cable. Your tablet can charge this way as well. If it does start to charge it seems as though your AC adapter may be faulty. It will take longer to charge this way than with the adapter because the USB port in a PC doesn’t supply as much current as the adapter would. The adapter if it is the cause of the problem is also covered by the warranty.
