After following all instructions charged overnight but did not charge .

There are a lot of poor quality batteries on the market. Some replacement batteries are nothing more than old, tired cells with a new gas gauge chip. Depending on where you bought it, your replacement may be a dud. So the first thing to test is to measure the voltage of the battery. Disconnect it from the phone and use a multimeter. You should measure between 3.7V and 4.2V. If the battery has less voltage, then you may want to try another, known-good battery to see if this solves your problem. If the battery is good, then you may have a damaged charging circuit or something else on the logic board.

Hi David, You have either purchased a faulty battery (try get another) Or You have damaged the tristar chip from using cheap cables. :-)
