I purchased a iPhone 7 that was in full working order just the owner said they had forgot the iCloud password. I never asked questions as I did not want to offend. Anyway I went to replace my iPhone 7 with the screen from this one but every time I do it refuses to boot. Stays on Apple logo. The screen worked fine on the old phone as I tried it. Can anyone shed any light on this??? Thanks
You could try to put your screen on the iCloud locked phone to see if it works there. If both screens work on the iCloud locked phone but don’t work on your phone, then there is a problem with your phone. It could be a damaged connector or a deeper logic board issue.
I wouldn’t bother with this phone. They forgot the iCloud password meaning the phone is iCloud locked and is pretty much only good for parts.
