Hello there! I’m modding an old imac for fun stuff. But now i’m stuck. i want to rewire the blower fans but there are 4 connections. And seem not to find any wiring diagrams anywhere. I dont want to blow my parts by testing. asuming you guys already did the testing, I’m asking whether there are some wiring diagrams of Imac’s to find on the IOT? I got a 21.5” from 2006. Thanks in advance!
I gnoresk yes those are definitely around. The way to look for them is by using the logic board number. It is in a 820-XXXX format. Let us know what number yours is. The four wires for your fan are normal: Motor control Tach Ground 12V DC
Look on the bottom of your stand and tell us what you really have. Apple did not produce a 21.5” model until late 2009.
