I have a 2015 Ford Edge Titanium and my windshield defrost doesn’t blow air. Sounds like the actuator but not sure where it is located on the Edge.
Hi @stewsuhr , Here are some images taken from the Ford Edge/Endura 2015-2018 Workshop Manual + Owner’s Manual. Climate Control System - Climate Control System – General Information section that shows the location of the Air Distribution door actuator and the removal/replacement procedure.
(click on image to enlarge for better viewing) Scroll down and click on the Body - Supplemental Restraint System section of the workshop manual which you will also need to gain access to the actuator as the driver knee airbag has to be removed. Go to p.47/458 (pdf numbering) to view the remove/replace procedure and also further down towards the end of the file to view the depowering procedure etc for the SRS system. Hopefully this is of some help.
