My laptop has a problem with the video chip. It wont show windows except in safe mode. Does anyone know how restore the laptop using the safe mode? help please before I throw it away. Info: Toshiba Satellite A205-S4587
Your best bet for restoring your computer is an installation disk. Boot from the install disk and when it asks to install or repair windows choose repair. follow the on screen prompts.To boot from the install disk you need to set the computer to boot from a disk in the boot menu which is done by pressing f2 or f12 on startup (same way you got into safe mode )depending on the machine Once there select disk and then restart and it will boot from the cd
