My MacBook Pro m1 2020’s Touch Bar has a hairline damage happened. Only left half of my Touch Bar is functioning properly. Right half of my touch bar along with my touch id button is not working now. My question is, if I get my Touch Bar replaced with newer one, will my existing Touch ID button work with newer Touch Bar
if you have good replacement parts, it should be fine PLEASE NOTE: touch id will no longer work due to it being paired to the logic board and can’t even be replaced with a touch id sensors for another macbook pro!
