I want to use the SSD from the MacBook Pro mid 2012 and put into a desktop. Can I do this? I also have a MacBook Air mid 2012 too. If that has one as well that would be great. Thanks.

Since the M2 blade do not work without issues in Macs, I doubt the Apple blades will work in PCs. Besides Apple has four different types of blades now. What I do with old blades is put them in the proper OWC Envoy external enclosures and use them for diagnostic and installation drives.
