On iPhones with TouchID replacing the home button disables TouchID. I was wondering if this was the same but with screen replacements on the newer iPhone 11s and FaceID?
No, Face ID will work if you take care when put components from old screen to the new one.
FaceID will retain its functionality since it is not part of the screen assembly.
