I have a nikon D3000. Bou6a 64gb memory card and it will not format. Display tells me card is full when it is a new card.
Hi, The capacity of your SD Card is too great. It is not supported by the camera. The Nikon D3000 supports SDHC SD Cards up to a maximum of 32GB. Here is an image taken from the User Guide that details the SD Card capacities that it supports. I don’t think that having the correct card manufacturer plays a role any more when buying SD Cards. They also do not specify but if you wish to take videos ensure that you get a Class 10 card (look for the symbol on the card label, usually it is a 10 in a circle or similar)
