Solved Will Finger Print Scanner Still Work If Changed Huawei P20

Hi, I need to change the screen on a Huawei p20, the finger print scanner is also damaged as the person who tried to change the screen before me, damaged the flex when removing the screen. If I replace the scanner with a new one will it still work? As I know you cant replace them on apple phones. Thanks in advance
