I tore my iphone se button cable, so my home button has no use right now, i have an old iphone 5 layin here so will i get the functionality back if i put it in my SE and will it even fit (i dont care about touch ID)
Even if it would fit it won’t work anyway, the design of the home button functionality is completely different. You will need to replace the home button with the same type, e.g another SE home button as they connect via ribbon cable. I don’t know whether 5S home buttons will work or not.
