I went to the beach and have salt water damage. I read alcohol was good to use but all the videos were on iPhone 6’s and below so can I keep in the taptic-engine or take it out before I put it in rubbing alcohol?

You need to disassemble the total phone. You can´t lay the complete phone in isopropanol. This will definitely kill the speakers and both cameras (residual on sensor). Only clean the logic board. If there are any errors caused by flex cable parts, replace them do not clean them this won´t work for long therm.
