Tried everything, disk mode, resetting, diagnostics, but the hard drive is very noisey and freezes all the time. Will a replacement hard drive fix this ?
Matthew Harvey, it could fix it. Since it is your HDD that is noisy and freezes, it does stand to reason that a new drive will fix it. At least you know that it does need to be replaced anyhow…Good Luck and let us know.
