I’m fairly sure the logic board on my 80 GB 5th generation iPod has died, and I’d like to replace it. However, it’s quite difficult to find the recommended 820-1975-A logic board with 64MB of RAM. I’m curious, other then the loss of the SEARCH function (mentioned elsewhere on these forums), will the 820-1975-A logic board with 32MB of RAM work with the 80GB iPod? All my music is backed up on my computer, so reformatting the HD is not an issue. Thank you!
