Hi all, I have an iPhone 5s and it’s WiFi and Bluetooth hasn’t been working for the past 3 years or so and I finally Got around to buying the tools and a new WiFi/BT antenna. After replacing the antenna following the guide on ifixit neither of them worked but I took another look at it and I’m not sure what I did but I got the Bluetooth working (before it was spinning) The WiFi still is greyed out and I would really like to know why, please can someone help me?

A grayed out wifi usually means the IC is not recognized by the system and it’s a logic board issue you cannot unfortunately fix without troubleshooting at component level. I’d recommend not to invest further time and money in components; also a repair would not be very advisable given the current iPhone 5s value

You have to replace WI-FI chip that fault from (WI-FI module). So you have to change complete module coz Bluetooth and WI-FI both are invealed on that
