So I am working on a Series of cell phones right now and I am having a problem with the iPhone 5C, a friend of mine came to me with his phone and informed me that his Wi-Fi signal keeps dropping (GSM Signal works perfect) I Replaced the Wi-Fi Signal Flex Cable but seems to still be dropping, Is there more to this Wi-Fi signal than just that one piece? Yes, there’s a common problem with the 5C where the wifi chip needs to be reflowed or replaced. Usually this will cause the wifi to be completely greyed out though. Sometimes a software issue can cause this as well. Putting the phone in DFU mode and restoring should solve that problem assuming that’s the issue here.
