Since a drop and a repair service in a bad bad bad shop, the wifi, gyroscope and compass of my SE are not working anymore. I moved the logicboard (and only the logicboard) to a completly different iPhone SE and it is still not working. Which part beyond the plug on the Logicboard could be the reason for this?
All of those functions have their own dedicated IC. The gyro and compass can be disabled when a logic board is cleaned with an ultrasonic cleaner. This is usually done following water damage or when a micro-soldering repair leaves lots of flux residue. You’ll need to ask the shop if they did this kind of cleanup procedure on your phone. Otherwise, it could be caused by accidental damage . What was your original problem that required a repair?
