My WiFi device won’t work unless I restart and open boot settings Whenever I restart my laptop normally it doesn’t show WiFi
Hi @ Harshul Gupta, If the WLAN is being shown as enabled in the BIOS and its’ status in Device Manager is being shown as not connected then perhaps you have a loose or faulty WLAN module. Here’s a link that shows how to perform hardware tests in HP computers. Click on Running Component tests > Complete List of Component tests > scroll down to Wireless Module test to view how to test the module If the WLAN module test indicates that it is faulty here’s a link to the service manual for your laptop, taken from this webpage Scroll to p.42 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove/replace the WLAN module. Follow the steps to check that the module’s connection to the motherboard is OK and if it is you may have to replace the module Also on p.42 you’ll find the part numbers for the module. If you search online using the appropriate part number only in the search box of your browser, you’ll get results for suppliers of the part
One way to get WiFi on all PC is to just get a usb plugin that connects to WiFi it is just something that will connect to things and connect to your computer via usb
