Hello everyone, I just bought a second hand iPhone 7 knowing that its wifi would not work but since I had another iPhone 7 which wifi is working properly I thought to switch the pieces (speaker/wifi antenna). However, the wifi remains greyed out, bluetooth works. What can I do to fix this? Thank you :)
If Wi-Fi is greyed out you have a board problem and not a parts problem. You will need to replace or re-ball the Wi-Fi IC. If you replace it you will have to unbind its Address from the NAND. This repair will require the correct equipment and experience in microsoldering.
