I was taking my motherboard out the other day, and was using my safe open pry tool. When I slipped off the WiFi antenna and directly above the connector is a small white transistor block. Well I chipped it. I get really weak signal now. Is this repairable or will I need a new board??
Repairable, but this is a board-level repair. You’d probably want to send it out for a replacement of the WiFi chip.
