Hi, I want to buy a replacement wifi antena for an iPhone 5S. All the antenas i received so far were either damaged, or the silver adhesive (indicted by arrows in the photo below) has gaps. Can this be replaced?
That’s a sign that the antenna was pulled from a phone. Personally, I don’t think that missing a bit of the conductive adhesive will make a difference for an individual phone. Sure, when you’re mass producing tens of millions of phones, everything has to be perfect to get high yields. But this should work fine. You can check out sites like Union Repair, they may sell this adhesive.
