Hi ifixit family , my iphone won’t turn back on. It died and it showed the dead battery logo. When i put it on the charger it didn’t turn back on. I let it sit on the charger overnight and still won’t turn on. I tried to hard reset and it still didn’t work. Help !!!
first thing id try is to check if the lightning cable goes all the way in and sits flush inside the phone, if its sticking out a little, cleaning out the lightning dock will likely solve this problem. next id try changing the battery, then the lightning port, if neither of these solve the problem then its likely a logic board issue.. there are guides available on here to replace the lightning dock and battery. good luck
