i recently just replaced my iphone 6 battery, i followed the steps properly. but the iphone wont turn on. It only turns on when connected to a charger, and it only turn on for like 3 secs then it turns off and the process is repeated help
It sounds like the battery could be severely discharged or even defective. Can you measure the voltage of the battery at the connector? It should be 3.5V or higher. Try leaving your phone connected to a charger overnight to see if this helps. If the phone still doesn’t boot up, it could be either a defective battery or damage to the logic board when you did the swap.
