annsimpson864 your Panasonic should have a self diagnostic. Your red light should start blinking if something in those diagnostics fails. See attached blink code errors.
The only other check you can do at this time is to follow the “no Power " troubleshooting.
For more detailed information and what to check where, it will help if you post lots of images of the boards with your question. For that, use this guide. Another must-have is the proper model number of your TV. Update (05/22/2016) Just double checked the attached images and the process is appropriate for your model. Start by checking it out. Disconnect the AC cable and remove the back. Without touching anything, check the power board for leaning domed or otherwise suspicious looking components (capacitors in particular)
