Chosen Solution
After replacing the home button assembly, the screen, sound, or vibration wouldn’t come back on. The power and home buttons work, just not everything else. I see that it still powers on, as it’s detected by iTunes when connected to my laptop. Any idea what the issue may be? I’ve made sure the ribbons from the screen are properly connected, kept track of the screws, and I also tried re-connecting the old home button ribbon. Could this be a logic board issue?
I finally took my phone to a shop today, and they found out right away that one of the screen ribbons was damaged. It was slightly torn off. Ughhh… Thanks to everyone that helped!
