12 year old Dyson upright vacuum doesn’t pick up dirt because the brush does not rotate.

@sweep4815, Kathy, You did not state your model#. There could be hair/debri wrapped around the brush rollers or perhaps belt has came off or broke. Use the Dyson brush trouble shooting 1st link below, select your model there if not the DC14. 2nd link may also be of help on disassembly of brush head. Good luck.
