I have a whirlpool cabrio top load washer. It will not spin or agitate. When it is sensing. You here a quick him from the motor but nothing moves. It has a separate electric drain pump. So it does drain. It is belt driven. When I go underneath the washer I can spin belt by hand. I can hear water moving inside tub. I can spin tub from the top also. I have replaced capacitor and motor. Still just hums.

Hi, It may be a faulty shift actuator, part #16 Gearcase, motor and pump parts diagram According to the supplier linked above the part number for the tech sheet for the washer is W10240504, which may also help as it shows how to run the diagnostics for the washer. It must be the same tech sheet for a lot of different makes and models because when searching for it online it shows up with a lot of models, but then a lot of washers are based on Whirlpool parts anyway, just rebranded. If it is the shift actuator that is the problem, there are other suppliers that may suit you better. Just search for wtw5600xw2 parts to get results
