The Roku has power and displays video, but there is no audio.
No sound to your video? We’ve got you covered. While we aren’t trying to insult your intelligence, make sure that the volume isn’t turned down too low and that the mute function isn’t activated. If this didn’t solve the problem, you can consult the Roku XD troubleshooting page for more possible solutions.
If you can see video on device, but not hear any audio, first make be sure that the audio cables are properly connected to both your Roku player and your TV or AV receiver. Also check to see that the volume on your TV or AV receiver is at an audible level and that your receiver (if you’re using one) is set to the correct input. If audio issues only happen when you’re trying to play content marked as 5.1 surround sound , it is likely that your TV or AV receiver does not support Dolby Digital. In this case, switch the audio mode on your Roku back to “Stereo.” From the Roku home screen, select settings > audio mode then do audio mode to stereo mode to play the audio on your device. If still not solve the issue, call on customer care number to solve the problem
