Hi, I have an iPhone 5C. I plugged the phone in, the screen lit up for about a second, and then it turned black. I tried to force restart it, but it didn’t turn on. I thought it was a battery issue, so I opened it up, but the battery appeared fine. I unplugged the battery, and it still wouldn’t work. When I turned it on, the Apple logo didn’t appear, it might be a screen/graphics issue? I’m not sure what the faulty part is. I’ve got data on it that I want to recover. Any suggestions?
You cannot tell if the battery is bad by its looks. The first thing to do is see if iTunes recognises it. · If it does you most likely need a screen replacement. · If it doesn’t you will need to replace the battery.
