Hi! I am having trouble turning in my Mac and I can’t seem to fix it. I closed it last night and 17 hours later it does not turn on. I have tried resetting the SMC but nothing happened. When I use the charger the light comes up as green and the trackpad is clicking, so if that gives you any information, I would really appreciate any help!
It might be something simple as a faulty battery preventing startup or something more serious, but first would need to try the easy one. You’ll have to remove the bottom cover and disconnect the battery, then plugin the magsafe..if it’s a battery issue the Mac would now start on its own. Any other info would help, are you using the original charger, ever had liquid spilled or Mac suffered bad hits in the past ?
