2 days ago I was given my neighbors ipod touch. He had some data and apps i didnt want on it so i pressed the button that said delete all settings and data. Now it will turn on only to go to an apple that has a face in it, then it flashes white and does it again. Please help.
This could be caused by having previously be jailbroken and some of your files may have been deleted. You can try to force restore by following these steps The other thing you can try is to use a program like iReb or TinyUmbrella and kick your iPod out of recovery. Any of the above steps could probably reverse your jailbreak. iReb is available here and TinyUmbrella from here. Leopold suggested DFU mode which is better explained at this site.
