Hi, I recently replaced my iPhone 5s’ LCD. The replacement was a success, but the home button isn’t clicking. It just feels like it’s loose. Touch ID work fine though.
In my case the button has shifted. I put it back and it works fine now for me
Try going to the Settings App and select general and then to accessibility. Check for the interaction section and assistive touch. Now tap the button next to assistivetouch and slide to the position (it should turn green)
iOS has a neat feature that helps when hardware buttons stop working. To activate this, go to the Settings app, and select General, then Accessibility. Scroll down to the Interaction section, and tap AssistiveTouch. Now tap the button next to AssistiveTouch so that it turns green and slides to the on position.
