My Mac was making noise from the fan. I watched a YouTube video on how to remove the screen to get to the fan. I did remove the screen and fix the fan from making noise. I plugged the Mac back in to the wall to turn it on while the screen was off to make the fan didn’t make noise any more. I unplugged the Mac again. To put it back together and now the screen doesn’t come on at all. It seems like the Mac is not getting power at all but I can hear the fan is on but the screen doesn’t work.
Go over all your connections again to ensure they are square, solid and complete. Check you didn’t kink, nick or damage any cables or connectors… rerouting them different than original may put enough strain on them to unseat a connection. If you plug in an external monitor you can ensure your GPU/video card is not damaged. If this answer is acceptable please remember to return and mark it.
