I have the gray version of this device and it won’t charge anymore. The indicator lights turn orange and the device shows its charging BUT won’t go higher than 19%. And to add insult to injury I can’t figure out how to take the bottom cover off without breaking it. Is there a teardown that can help?
Hi @antdestin , How old is the laptop as it seems as though it is a recent release i.e. within the last 12-15 months anyway? If it is less than 12 months old, do not void the warranty by trying to open it to check the battery etc. Contact the manufacturer’s customer service section to get it fixed under warranty. That’s what warranties are for. In the meantime install a app (example only) that shows the status of the battery i.e. estimated capacity vs designed capacity etc, just to get another view of it and what may be occurring.
