I just got a new blackberry curve. For some reason it won’t charge. It does not have water damage. I went to the phone company and they said I need a new battery. I got a new one and it still won’t work.I tried the new battery because the warranty is up and do not wish to get a new one because of the minimum fees that apply when buying it. Could you please give me advise to resolve this issue without getting a new phone? Thanks.
Have you tried a wall charger and USB charger? Does the charge icon come on? Check the phone port take a look at the 5 gold pins where u insert the charger and make sure they are not bend and align right. Also clean out the port to make sure there is no debris in there, if this does not help, try pulling the battery for 10 seconds if it still doesn’t work, you may want to try another cable if none above works you most likely have a dead port and a replacement is in order.
