So I got this iPhone 6 that is showing no signs of life at all, not charging or connecting to iTunes. I ordered a battery and charging port assembly and the battery arrived today so I installed it and it made no difference. I will replace the charging port once it arrives but I have a feeling that isn’t it. Any ideas about what it could be? I have been told it has not been ever been water damaged

Have you measured the voltage output from the battery? Some batteries ship in a pretty depleted state and if its been on the shelf beforehand, may be fully depleted. Assuming the battery has some charge, then using a USB ammeter can help you determine if the charge circuit is working or not. If it is not charging (drawing current) or booting, then you need to start disconnecting modules (cameras, buttons etc.) until only the logic board and dock remain. If iTunes still can’t recognize the phone, then you have a logic board issue. If that’s the case, then you will need to find a micro-soldering repair shop.
