There is a little soft pad sticking to the upper antenna cable below the ear speaker in iPhone 6. Is the purpose of the pad to PREVENT contact with the LCD unit when closed or is this supposed to MAKE contact with something? Can these pads be purchased as a part or do they come with the antenna flex?
That pad makes sure that the cable is properly seated so it does not move about. Also since it is conductive, it serves as a grounding/shielding point. There are suppliers providing entire sets of internal sticker sheets for iphones, buying just one does not seem to make economical sense since shipping costs can be thousand times more than the object’s worth if you are outside of China.
