hi my iphone sound is not working with earpiece and headphone during call and voice memo and any where else…. i changed ic sound and retored to 11.2 ios but still i have the problem plz help me thanks
I apologise for asking the obvious but have you tried to replace flex components before replacing IC’s? It is possible that a bad Lightning/Headphone port could be causing this issue. I would try to replace, preferably with known good parts, the Headphone flex first, then the FCAM/Sensor flex to see if this helps. If you have already tried this and are confident the issue is logic board related, I would double check my work on the Audio IC (U0900) to insure there are no displaced/bridged components surrounding the IC and ultimately, remove the IC and check the pads below for cracks etc. You could also check the relevant filters (page 11 & 18 of the schematic).
Try using the them in another phone to see whether they work as expected, preferably an iPhone (as some headphones are manufactured for either iPhone or Android devices). If they behave the same plugged into the other device, then you need to look for headphones with inline mic manufactured for iPhone. Most major brands will offer their headphones in either Android or iPhone version. If they work with the other device, then it might be an internal hardware fault (assuming you didn’t fiddle with the software - as in jailbreaking).
