I would like to use my 1/4” bits and up to 8mm sockets with my ifixit driver. I can’t find an adapter anywhere.

The issue is torque! Using a small diameter handle (4mm bit) won’t offer enough purchase to torque the fastener either off or on. It sounds like you need a different kit like: Manta Driver Kit - 112 Bit Driver Kit so you get the proper handle.
