Why my PlayStation 4 cooling fan turning on and off? My PlayStation 4 cooling fan sometimes turn on and sometimes don’t. From my experience in electronics I know that the fan should be always on , at least at is 10% on. But mine doesn’t, and the PS4 overheats and turn itself off. I ordered thermal paste (grease) and a cooling fan for my PS4 1215a . What do you guys think it is ?
Sounds like a bad fan to me. The fan on the PS4 should always be on when you have the console on. The speed will vary but it should always be on.
