my phone suddenly died while charging last night. i did press the power and home button and it did turn on. but after that (still charging), it died again. i tried to do the same thing but nothing happened. also my phone was overheated last night eventhough i didn’t use or charge it. i don’t know how to turn it on anymore. i really need to use my phone right now :(((((( thankyou for your help!
If your battery had started getting you shorter and shorter use times, it might be that it ‘s just a dead battery issue. If not replaced before, Apple has in place a special battery replacement price until year end https://support.apple.com/iphone/repair/…. If you had been using non original or certified chargers/cables it might be your phone got damaged and needs very specific attention by a lab specialized in microsoldering and component level repairs. One way or the other you won’t get things done immediately, thus you better find an interim solution if you don’t have a replacement phone at hand.
