My iphone drains charge it’s own. If I keep it it takes 5-6 hours to drain the charge from 100% to 10%.A mechanic suggest me that it is because of charging ic problem. Can anyone tell what is the problem and will I face any problem if I change the ic?
Several things could be causing your issues. It could be bad battery, a defective modular component (camera, sensor) or even App based. Use a battery utility, such as coconutBattery (for Mac) or 3uTools (for Windows). It will tell you what the health of the battery is. Anything less than 60-70% of design capacity will require replacement. Next, close all of your apps or better yet, do a full system reset (back up your data first) to see if that helps.
