I am a return buyer. Why this time I can’t purchase?
Due to law changes, shipments of batteries have been greatly restricted due to fire problems. Battery shipments to foreign countries I believe have stopped. @kadan Kadan or @cvneutron Matt may be able to give us the official statement. UPDATE 1/5/2018 Try contacting the iFixit Australian store, they mat be able to get it more easily than the US store can ship. https://australia.ifixit.com
As it turns out, as of January 1st, 2017, a new regulation passed that prevents us from further shipping Lithium Ion batteries to International customers from the United States. At this time, we are only able to ship batteries within the contiguous United States (excluding US Territories). However, it’s possible that you may be able to find a forwarding company that is able to send packages containing batteries overseas.
Double check your country is on the list that iFixit ships to Internationally. If your country is listed, contact Customer Support at this link or call them.
