With the steaming knob in the off position and the steaming button also off. Water is dripping from the steaming wand when the machine heats up. When I start to make an espresso water then pours out the wand. I get about 125ml of water per espresso. The espresso also tastes weaker and has less cream. I am using the same coffee I have always used. I have also recently cleaned the espresso boiler plate as per the manufacturers guide and also descaled the machine. How do I fix the issue?
I viewed the instructions here for disassembling te machine and cleaning it. I noticed that the closing knob was stuck in an open position after I took it apart. I was able to solve the problem by cleaning around the closing knob and letting it move on and off again.
