Hi my MacBook Air m1 Touch ID isn’t working. I’ve never dropped or damaged my MacBook and when you push down on that button, it properly takes you to the Lock Screen. Where do I go to set it up on settings cuz maybe that will help me?
Apple has a guide for adjusting the Touch ID settings here, but it sounds like it could be a software issue. I had something similar happen on my Intel based Macbook, and I just needed to restart it to regain use of Touch ID.
